Dewsbury Team Parish News and Events 17 – 23 June 2018

The Minster Church of All Saints,
St John the Evangelist Dewsbury Moor,
Holy Trinity Batley Carr,

Together – serving the people of Dewsbury

WELCOME to our services across the team this Sunday. If you are visiting, or haven’t been to Church for a while, it’s really good to see you. We hope that you will feel at home amongst us, and return often. If you need any help or information whilst you are here, just have a word with those on duty at the back of church. Before you leave, please pray for us, as we continue the mission and ministry of God’s Church in this town and surrounding communities, which began when St. Paulinus baptised 3000, preached and celebrated on or near the holy site of our Minster Church almost 1400 years ago

God of Mission,
Who alone brings growth to your Church,
Send your Holy Spirit

Planned Giving

God promises to bless those who give.  If you already have an Orange Free Will Offering Envelope, please consider the amount you are currently giving and perhaps after prayerful thought, you might increase this, even if by only small amount.

If you do not currently have an Orange Envelope and regularly attend The Minster, please consider taking an Envelope and commit to giving whatever you can afford on a regular basis.

Please remember that even if you miss the odd Sunday, as this is a weekly Offering, it is encouraged that you put in an Envelope for the missing Sundays.  Some of you do just that!

It costs £250,000 a year to run this Parish, so that’s £1,322 for every person on the Electoral Roll.  £10 a week only adds up to £520 per year.

Please be sacrificial, generous and wherever possible in proportion to your Income.

If you are a UK Tax Payer, please use the GIFT AID scheme to maximise your giving

See Wardens  for further information.
